SKOOPED LLC SMS Lead Alert Program: consent documentation

This page documents the complete opt-in experience for the SMS website inquiry alert program operated by SKOOPED LLC (Skooped, skooped.io) of Franklin, Tennessee. The program is business-to-business only: it sends Skooped's own contracted clients (a closed roster of fewer than 10 local business owners) one text message when a visitor submits the contact form on that client's own website. We never message consumers, prospects, or the people who submit those forms.

Email is the default; texting is a standalone, optional election

Every Skooped client automatically receives new-inquiry notifications by email. SMS alerts are offered separately through a voluntary, unchecked checkbox on the client's one-page service agreement. The agreement is complete and fully valid with the box left blank, declining changes nothing about price or service, and a client can add or drop text alerts at any time. Consent is never a condition of purchasing or using any Skooped service.

Below is the actual blank agreement page. The SMS election is section 3 ("Lead alerts"), shown unchecked as every client receives it, in full view of the signature block:

The client personally checks the box, writes in the receiving mobile number, and signs. Before any lead alert is sent, Skooped sends a one-time enrollment confirmation SMS with program name, frequency, rate disclosure, and STOP/HELP instructions; recurring alerts begin only after that confirmation. Opted-out numbers are re-enabled only when a client who previously gave written consent texts START or UNSTOP, or submits a new written request.

Scope notes

Phone numbers for this program come solely from signed agreements, never from third parties, purchased lists, or website visitors. The skooped.io contact form collects no SMS consent of any kind; no number submitted on skooped.io is messaged under this program. Mobile numbers and SMS consent data are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
